click the desired image and hit ok on the popup dialog box to set a new buddy icon. if this doesn't work, or if a link is misdirected, simply right-click and save an image to your computer, then open aim and go to "my aim > edit options > edit preferences > buddy icons" and locate the file to set it as your new buddy icon:
