Affiliates / Sister Sites must be anime/Jpop related. :: Since we are an anime multimedia site, we will not agree to affiliate with any non-anime/Jpop related sites.
Affiliates / Sister Sites must receive no fewer than 80 hits a day. :: AR recieves, on average, anywhere from 250 to 400 unique site hits per day. We would prefer to affiliate mainly with well-established, fairly successful anime and Jpop sites. The idea of affiliation is to share success with your affiliates, providing hits for and receiving hits from them. We will be lenient with this rule for awhile since we are still trying to recover from our long, unplanned absences.
Affiliates / Sister Sites are randomly displayed in AR's affiliates frame. :: We are currently utilizing a randomizing JavaScript that will shuffle through the affiliates' buttons every minute. If and when AR decides to affiliate your site, we will save one of your button banners (88x31 pixel buttons only) and will place it in the script database. AR cannot guarantee that your site will appear at all times on the affiliated list, however a link to all the affiliated sites' buttons is provided at all times. The random script is to give everyone equal chance to get hits from AR. (Even links to the other Kaze-hosted sites are randomized - we're trying to be as fair as possible.) Affiliate banners will be interspersed with small "ads" for features on AR. Each new banner will be added to the next available slot in the list. We want to keep filling the slots in order, so please do not request that your site be added to a particular slot (ie, in the first slot at the beginnning of the list). Your banner will be added to the next available opening. We use the same refresh randomizer in the new affiliates frame as we do on the sideframe images, so the buttons are re-shuffled every minute. The new affiliate frame appears at all times at the bottom of the site, giving our affiliates even more "air time" than our original one-page-only affiliate table.
Affiliates / Sister Sites will be linked with non-animated 88x31 pixel button banners only. :: As stated above, for reasons of the script and because we want uniformity, only non-animated 88x31 pixel button banners will be acceptable forms of linkage for affiliates. (If you want to affiliate AR with a larger or animated banner we don't mind - this is just for our page.) If you do not have any non-animated 88x31 buttons for linking, you must acquire one before requesting review for affiliation. If you can't make your own, please check out our Banners section for ordering details. Please remember - we do not accept animated buttons for affiliation due to loading time constraints!
Affiliates / Sister Sites should have nice layouts, original content, be entertaining, and be easy to navigate, as well as offer some kind of anime/Jpop multimedia for visitors to download. :: Since AR strives to follow this example, we (and our visitors) should expect our affiliates to do the same. We want people to be able to find other quality anime and Jpop media sites through our affiliates. This means none of the following: direct-linked files, graphics used without credits to who made them, excessive Java Applets or CometCursors etc., hidden auto-starting midis, information / content plagiarized from other sites, a ton of broken links, or excessive use of graphics-shop layouts, buttons, etc., among other things. AR is encouraging sites that give the visitor fun things to do with the minimum of hassle. You must have at least a fairly large offering of anime or Jpop downloadables to offer visitors (image galleries, mp3s, midis, lyrics, layouts, or the like), or preferably have a wallpaper or Winamp skin section.
Affiliate sites may contain hentai / ecchi works, as long as they are contained in separate sections, clearly labeled as such, and have warnings/agreements before images may be viewed. :: If your site has a section similar to AR's Ai no Himitsu, you will still be considered for affiliation. We do not want to affiliate sites that have nothing but hentai - you must have at least a general section for visitors. If you do have a relatively soft-core hentai / ecchi section (containing such images as yaoi / yuri pairings, kissing, mild nudity, etc.), please bear in mind that you must have a disclaimer that the user must click to agree to before any H materials are displayed, even in thumbnail format. Extreme hardcore hentai (graphic sex, rape, "tentacles", children in nude/sexual poses, etc.) should not be contained in areas that are not protected by an AdultCheck system. Ads to adult sites may not appear on any pages but those contained in the hentai / ecchi section. You may not have pop-up ads for adult sites, especially if they open more pop-ups by themselves when closed.
Affiliates / Sister Sites must link back to AR in a timely manner of being accepted as an affiliate (preferably 2-3 days), or your link will be removed from our page until you comply. :: If we visit your page at any time after affiliating with you and see that our banner is no longer displayed with your other affiliates in a visible place on your site, your banner will be removed from our queue until you put AR's link back up or e-mail us telling us that you no longer want to be an affiliate. We will most likely e-mail you and assume that it was oversight - a layout change, etc. - that caused our banner to be removed. We will usually e-mail you before we remove your affiliate button to give you a chance to check if it was simply an error. If we receive no response from you within a week and our button has not been added back onto your affiliates list, your button will be removed until we get a response from you. We are not going to provide traffic to an affiliate's site if they are not going to reciprocate. The whole idea of affiliation is to share visitor traffic, not to get linked by a popular site and not have any way of directing others to their site in return.

AR reserves the right to change and/or amend these rules as we see fit and without warning... Request review for affiliation with the form below ONLY - do not e-mail, IM, or ICQ any of the AR staff asking to be affiliated! AR will not accept affiliates who request in this manner - that's what the form is for. Use it please. Again, just for the record, if sites do not meet the standards above, you will not be affiliated.

If you leave any fields blank, or if we are not taken directly to your splash (or main if you have no splash) page upon clicking your URL, your application will be deleted and you will not be notified. Doublecheck your spelling and include the "http://" prefix on your URL. Include your complete correct e-mail address.
