Welcome to 'Dear, My Angel' - An Ogata Megumi Shrine, version Pull The Trigger. This layout was created using lyrics translated from the song Hikigane Hike (Pull The Trigger), and an image scanned from Ogata-sama's Multipheno CD booklet. If you've been into anime for any length of time, you may have heard the name Ogata Megumi. (Or you may not have. ::shrug:: =^_^=) Chances are, you've probably heard something performed by Ogata-sama. She has performed many anime roles including Ikari Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tenoh Haruka / SailorUranus from Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon, and Emeraude-hime from Magic Knight Rayearth. Unfortunately, not many people in America have ever heard of Ogata-sama. This extremely talented woman is a popular seiyuu (voice actor) in Japan, who has given voices to numerous characters in anime. Her wide vocal range in both singing and speech have enabled her to become immensely popular. Because of her vocal abilities, she has been asked to perform characters varying from young children (young Morisato Keiichi from Aa! Megami-Sama, young Chiba Mamoru from Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon), to male characters (her debut role of Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, Ikari Shinji from Neon Genesis Evangelion), to female roles (Tenoh Haruka / SailorUranus from Bishoujo Senshi SailorMoon, Karen from B'tX). She has a beautiful singing voice, and she can alter the way she sounds so that she can perform songs in different 'personalities'. One example of this ability is the song Tanpopo, from her Winter Bird CD. This song is sung in a little child's voice, and sounds almost like a completely different person is singing when compared to something like Kaze ni Naru (from her MO CD), which is sung in a deeper woman's voice (the one used for Tenoh Haruka). I will be posting some of the Mp3s I have of her music so others can hear her beautiful singing. This site is designed to be viewed in 800x600 screen resolution or higher on Microsoft Internet Explorer 4+. If your screen resolution is set lower than 800x600, the top menu bar will be cut off. (You can still navigate the site using the links on the bottom of all the pages, though.) I hope you find my shrine informative. You can use the menu on the top to navigate around 'Dear, My Angel', and at any time, you can return to this page by clicking the title at the top of the screen. Please feel free to explore the site and learn a little more about this very talented woman.
